Για 14η συνεχόμενη χρονιά, η Θεσσαλονίκη γίνεται το επίκεντρο και το Reworks Festival ο θεσμός που της δίνει παλμό.

Reworks Agora
Το Reworks Agora είναι ένα μονοήμερο διαθεματικό και πολυδύναμο forum το οποίο παρουσίαζει κεντρικούς ομιλητές, συζητήσεις, μουσικά performances και προβολές από κορυφαίους ειδικούς και πρωτοπόρους της δημιουργικής οικονομίας, του πολιτισμού, της τεχνολογίας και της σύγχρονης σκέψης.
Στις 16 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018 το Reworks Agora ανοίγει τις πόρτες του για δώσει βήμα σε νέες ιδέες και ανθρώπους που πρωτοπορούν, οδηγώντας τις εξελίξεις σε παγκόσμιο ή εθνικό επίπεδο.
Στο μουσικό σκέλος το Reworks Agora παρουσιάζει την συναυλία των Grandbrothers w/ Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra όπου για πρώτη φορά παγκοσμίως θα παρουσιάσουν την μουσική τους με Ορχήστρα και συγκεκριμένα την Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Δήμου Θεσσαλονίκης.

Ζούμε σε ένα συνεχώς μεταβαλλόμενο και τεχνολογικά τροφοδοτούμενο παρόν, όπου νέα οράματα απαιτούνται για να αντιμετωπίσουμε τις αναδυόμενες προκλήσεις της εποχής μας. Και είναι ο πολιτισμός, αυτός που θα δείξει τον δρόμο. Η νέα γενιά, που διαμορφώνει σήμερα το αύριο του πολιτισμού, και κινείται προς το μέλλον, με μια τολμηρή ματιά, αλλάζοντας την οπτική και δείχνοντας τι είναι εφικτό να λυθεί μέσω της μουσικής, του κινηματογράφου και των αμέτρητων άλλων τρόπων δημιουργικής έκφρασης.
Η 3η έκδοση της Reworks Agora θα δώσει έμφαση σε πολιτιστικούς φορείς που τολμούν. Σε δημιουργικούς επιχειρηματίες που πηγαίνουν σε αχαρτογράφητα νερά. Σε ακτιβιστές που διατρέχουν κινδύνους και παίρνουν το ρίσκο. Σε καλλιτέχνες που κάνουν πράγματα που δεν έχουν γίνει ποτέ πριν. Όλοι θα μοιραστούν τις εμπειρίες τους, τις όμορφες και δύσκολες στιγμές και θα προτείνουν τον τρόπο να αγκαλιάσουμε το δικό μας άγνωστο. Την Κυριακή 16 Σεπτεμβρίου στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης, θα παρουσιαστεί, μαζί με προσκεκλημένους ομιλητές από όλο τον κόσμο, μια εμπροστοβαρή προσέγγιση στα σημερινά πολύπλευρα και παγκόσμια θέματα της συμμετοχικής κοινωνίας, του πολιτιστικού ακτιβισμού, της πολιτιστικής επιχειρηματικότητας και της τεχνικής νοημοσύνης στη μουσική βιομηχανία.

Reworks Agora is a one-day, cross-thematic forum that features keynote speakers, discussions, musical performances and screenings by leading experts and pioneers in the creative economy, culture, technology and contemporary thinking.
On September 16, 2018, Reworks Agora will host speakers from Greece and abroad to present initiatives and projects on music and culture, technology, digital culture and cultural entrepreneurship that shape the future of the cultural ecosystem.
On its music schedule, Reworks Agora has announced the concert of Grandbrothers w/ Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra where, for the first time, worldwide, they will present their music alongside the Thessaloniki City Symphony Orchestra.

The 3rd edition of Reworks Agora will highlight cultural operators that dare. Creative entrepreneurs that go to uncharted waters. Activists that take risks. Artists that do things that have never done before. All of them will share their experiences, the beautiful and difficult moments and will suggest the way to embrace our own unknown. On Sunday 16th of September at Thessaloniki Concert Hall, a forward thinking approach on today’s multifaceted and global issues of participative societies, cultural activism, tech-oriented entrepreneurship and music industry intelligence will be presented together with guest speakers from all around the world.
